Having said so, it is still highly recommended to dress smartly as a gesture of respect for the establishment. We opted for a 6-course Food presentation was top notch, every dish was an art to be admired.
Every food combination was a surprise to awaken our palates. A glass of Ruinarts' Rose to start our dining journey and a bottle of Brunello Di Montalcino to complement the rest of the courses, what more could we ask for?

Our mouths are watering already. A nice counterpart of the property being so classical and imposant, is the modern, light and spacial interior.
There is no music playing; you just hear some polite buzz coming from the guests in the room. That way you are able to focus more on the experience of taste.
We are served a beautiful Esprit Brut Nature Champagne from Henri Giraud to go with our even more beautiful amuses. That is what we call a good entrance.
The tone is set for the rest of the menu! We start with three light dishes: The first one is white Piedmontese beef carpaccio with black truffle, artichoke and Parmesan cheese.
The intense truffle flavors are way to dominant — exactly how we like it. The white Alessandro Viola wine provides the perfect support of the dish without modifying the taste.
The dish coming with it exists of octopus and ceps with linseed vinaigrette and parsley aioli. Except for a nice crisp in it, the wine by the glass is not that special, but together with the dish it really comes to life.
A perfect combination. Our third course also is a truly delicate one: blue lobster, melon, gelatinized gazpacho and lobster tartare. Have you ever dreamed about egg and truffles?
This fourth course is absolutely amazing: only the smell of it makes you longing for more. Will it get any better than this?! The presentation in the egg shaped bowl is fantastic as well.
Before going to the meat head dishes, we can enjoy two dishes of fish. First, Bavarian trout with vegetables and as a second, sea bream and fresh Gillardeau oysters with green tomato salsa and almonds.
The vintage Veyder-Malberg wine from Austria provides a winning combination with both these dishes, because of the saltiness and the Mediterranean notes in them.
The main dishes of meat are a dish of mieral guinea fowl curry and a dish of saddle of venison, braised fennel, picked apricot, venison liver and eel compote.
Two times head dishes, two times dessert, right? Luckily, this is the case! We start our sweet finale with a black forest gateau with cherry, chocolate and cream.
After our first dessert, we receive a dessert of pure dark chocolate with grapefruit granite and bergamot. Again, the wines coming from Duncan Savage from South-Africa are a perfect partner for the dishes.
After our experience, we can conclude that the mind-blowing location and the stunning presentation of the dishes provide exactly what the food prepared by 3 starred chef Joachim Wissler deserves.

We are lucky enough to dine around the world and in several Michelin star restaurants too. We had booked this restaurant given its 3 star rating and were looking forward to the experience.

While everything was cooked well, it was not as refined as we had expected. Flavors sometimes were not to our liking which can happen but there was also too much going on the plates and side dishes.
